The Cage That Was Open at Dawn

Carpa Aurora, six in the morning. The old tigress's cage was found standing wide open, the padlock on the ground, unforced and with no broken key inside. The animal was asleep ten metres away on the open earth, and nothing happened to anybody — but it could have happened to anyone. Three keys open that padlock, and all three were where they belonged.
